Free Introduction to Statistical Concepts e-Course.These e-learning courses work in conjunction with SAS University Edition. There are free video tutorials and teaching materials to introduce you to this interface. University Edition has the new SAS Studio interface which allows users to write code or utilize a set of guided tasks which will write the code for you for a pre-determined set of analyses. SAS University Edition is downloaded and installed on your computer. This option does not require an internet connection. University Edition runs within a virtual machine, therefore it will run on PCs, Macs and Linux operating systems. It is not for use for administrative purposes. It can be used for academic research and teaching purposes. The University Edition software offering, despite the name, is available for use by any learner anywhere in the world for non-commercial use. Please read the descriptions to determine which option is right for you, your research, or your class. There are several resources on this page for SAS software. The options available depend on the purpose that SAS will be used for. Information Technology provides SAS software for all current UW faculty, staff and students.
